Sofia Samatar is the author of the novel A Stranger in Olondria, which won both the 2014 British Fantasy Award and the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel. She also won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer and the Crawford Award. As Chris Abani put it, “she writes stories so rich, with characters so full of life, they haunt you long after the story ends.”
